This page allows users of Testdroid Quiz free (com.mlcorrea.testdroidfree) by mlcorrea (brand: CramSnap) to request deletion of their account and/or personal data. We respect your right to control your data.
1. Delete Your Account
To delete your CramSnap account:
In-app: Open CramSnap → Go to Settings → Tap Delete Account → Confirm deletion.
Your personal data is removed immediately. Any content shared with other users is anonymised at the same time (see §3 and §4 below). All internal processing completes within 30 days.
If you are unable to delete your account through the app, you can request deletion by emailing:
- Email: [email protected]
- Subject: “Account Deletion Request”
- Include the email address associated with your CramSnap account
2. Request Partial Data Deletion
You can request deletion of specific data without deleting your entire account — for example, your name appearing in a quiz title or question:
Email: [email protected] Subject: “Data Deletion Request” Include: Your account email and specify which data you want deleted (e.g., quiz history, profile information, battle records)
3. What Gets Deleted (permanently)
When you delete your account, the following is removed permanently and irreversibly:
- Account information — name, email, profile photo, login credentials
- Friends list and messages — friendships and any 1:1 messages
- Quizzes that aren’t being used by anyone else — questions, answers, categories you created that no tournament, class assignment or other user depends on
- Quiz history — your scores, completion records, time taken
- Battle history — your challenge records and results
- Daily streak data — streak count, activity history
- Coin balance and purchases — all virtual currency and shop records
- Push notification tokens — no more notifications can be sent to you
4. What Is Kept (anonymised, not deleted)
Where other users depend on content you created, we keep the content but remove your identity. In all of these places your name is replaced with “Deleted user”:
- Quizzes used in a tournament — the quiz stays so other participants’ results still make sense; your name as the author is removed
- Quizzes assigned to a teacher’s class — students who have an assignment based on it can still complete it; your name is removed
- Tournament leaderboards — your score remains so other players’ rankings don’t shift; your name is removed
- Battle records — the opponent keeps their match history; your name is removed
- Class rosters — the teacher’s roster keeps the row (so counts like “12 of 12 submitted” stay correct); your name is removed
This retention is based on the legitimate interests of other users (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and on the carve-outs in Article 17(3)(a) and (e) of the GDPR. It matches how most education and quiz platforms (Quizlet, Kahoot, Khan Academy) handle account deletion.
If a specific piece of remaining content contains information you want removed, email us — see §2.
5. What Is Retained Briefly for Operational Reasons
- Hashed copy of your email — 20 days. A one-way hash (SHA-256) of your email is stored to prevent immediate re-registration with the same address. This is an anti-abuse measure. After 20 days the hash is removed. A different email can be used at any time.
- Analytics events — up to 2 months. Anonymous gameplay events tagged with your account identifier while you were signed in. Firebase Analytics retains them for up to 2 months before automatic deletion. The device-side identifier is cleared the moment your account is deleted.
- Crash reports — up to 90 days. Firebase Crashlytics default retention.
- System logs — up to 90 days. Server-side audit logs of significant events (sign-in, account deletion, security events).
6. Deletion Timeline
Personal data is removed and shared content is anonymised immediately when you confirm deletion in the app.
Internal processing (cleanup of any large amounts of data, removal from backups as they rotate) completes within 30 days, as required by Article 12(3) GDPR.
Account deletion is final — there is no reactivation. To use CramSnap again you’ll need to create a new account.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
As a user in the UK/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your data by emailing us
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — delete your account (see §1)
- Data Portability — request a copy of your quizzes and account data by emailing us
- Object — opt out of analytics tracking
